Khulna shrimp units to get non-stop power

KHULNA, July 2: A 33/11 KV industrial express feeder of West Zone Power Distribution Company Limited (WZPDCL) was formally switched on by WZPDCL Managing Director Abu Isahaq at Labanchara of Rupsha industrial area Tuesday.
The inaugural function of switching-on was attended, among others, by the high officials of WZPDCL and Frozen Foods Exporters Association at the initiative of whom the express feeder was installed.
Sources said the new feeder was set up under the project of WZPDCL Town-5. The high tension (HT) consumers, specially shrimp processing units, will get non-stop supply of electricity through feeder from Natunbazar to Dashghat Industrial Area.
