Kibria murder Habiganj mayor sent to jail

HABIGANJ, Dec 28 (UNB) : A court here on Sunday sent Habiganj municipality mayor Golam Kibrai Gaus to jail, rejecting his bail prayer in a case filed in connection with the killing of former Finance Minister Shah AMS Kibria.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Rokeya Akhter passed the order when GK Gous, also district BNP general secretary, surrendered before the Habiganj Cognizance Court-1 around 11:30am, seeking bail.
