Kidnapped businessman rescued in city, seven held

Detectives in a drive rescued a kidnapped businessman and arrested seven suspected kidnappers, including two agents of bKash, from a hotel in the city's Gulistan area on Friday last, reports UNB.
Tipped off, a team of DB police conducted a raid at a hotel and rescued Mohaiminul Islam from a room in the night, said Muntasir Islam, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police. Later police arrested seven people, including two agents of bKash, for their suspected involvement in the abduction of Mohaiminul.
