Killers of my father abducted me: Parvin

GAZIPUR: Parvin Akhter, female ward councillor of Gazipur City Corporation (GCC),  Sunday alleged that she was abducted by the accused in her father killing case.
“Those who are accused in my father murder case abducted me. They tortured and threatened me,” she said at a press briefing at the office of the superintendent of police.
During the briefing, the female GCC councillor broke into tears, according to a news agency.
Meanwhile, SP Abdul Baten, quoting Parvin, said Dulal Haji, Jewel, Sohel and their associates abducted her. “Truth will be unveiled and those who are involved will be arrested after verifying the information.”
Parvin went missing on her way to arbitration from her village home at Panisail in Gazipur city Friday morning.
Later, her husband Minhaz Uddin filed a general diary with Joydevpur Police Station Friday night.
A day after the incident, police rescued her from Nabiganj upazila of Habiganj district Saturday night with the help of local people.
