Monday, 13 July 2015

State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan on Monday said those involved in brutally murdering teenage boy Rajon would not be spared.
“The killers will be brought to book and stern actions will be taken against them,” he said while talking to reporters at his office in the capital, a news agency report said.
The junior minister also added that one alleged killer, who was arrested earlier in connection with the case, has already been put on a five-day remand and another has been detained.
“The other killers will be hunted down soon,” he said.
The law-enforcement agencies have been ordered to arrest the culprits and are now on a manhunt to arrest them, he added.
On July 8, Sheikh Samiul Alam Rajon, 13, son of Sheikh Azizur Rahman of Badeali village in Sadar upazila, was tortured to death by some locals over a theft at Sundar Ali Market in Kumargaon area of the Sylhet city.
The killers themselves took the video footage of the incident and uploaded it on the internet.
Soon, the video clip went viral on social networking site Facebook and video-sharing site Youtube causing uproar across the country.
