Killers, rapists of '71 won't be spared: Tuku

CHITTAGONG, Dec 30: State Minister for Home Affairs Shamsul Huq Tuku has said the killers and rapists of 1971 would not be spared so long as the followers of 1971 are in power.
He was addressing a special meeting on law and order at the Chittagong Circuit House Tuesday.
The state minister said the investigation officers of the 10-truck arms haul case had been asked to submit the chargesheet of the case at the quickest possible time after more necessary investigation.
Among others, Divisional Commissioner MAN Siddiq, Chittagong Metropolitan Police Commissioner M Moniruzzaman, Deputy Commissioner Farid Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury and Deputy Inspector General of Chittagong Asaduzzaman Meah were present.
