Knowledge-based human resources emphasised for Chittagong Port

CHITTAGONG, Apr 18: Training is a must for enhancing professional efficiency and building knowledge-based human resources for the multi-dimensional organisations like Chittagong Port (CP).
Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) Member (engineering) Captain Jubayer Ahmad expressed the opinion while speaking at the certificate distribution function of 'Container terminal operation and management' course arranged by the CPA training institute Wednesday.
The course aims at enhancing operational efficiency of CP with building skilled human resources through imparting theoretical and practical knowledge to the trainees.
Senior Training Officer (operation) Halima Begum was in-charge of supervising the training course.
A total of 27 officials from CPA, Bangladesh Coast Guard, Bangladesh Landport Authority, different shipping lines, ICDs and PSI companies took part in the training programme.
