Koko\\\'s body to arrive tomorrow

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's youngest son Arafat Rahman Koko's body will be brought home from Malaysia tomorrow (Tuesday), the party has said, report agencies.
The remains were expected to arrive at 11:30am, BNP chief's Special Assistant Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas said.
The first Namaj-e-Janaza of Koko would be held at the Naya Paltan headquarters of the party after the Asr prayers on the day, he said.
The BNP announced a three-day mourning programme from Monday (today).
The Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur has completed all the necessary formalities to send the body home. An official said it depended on them (Koko's family members) when they would take back the body home.
"From our part, all the formalities have been done. We've handed over the permission letter this (Sunday) morning," the official said over phone preferring anonymity.
BNP will observe the mourning for three days across the country from today (Monday) following the death of Arafat Rahman.
BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the mourning programme in a press release on Sunday evening.
The press release said the party would observe the mourning programme from Monday to Wednesday by hoisting black flags atop its offices across the country.
Meanwhile, the first namaz-e-janaza for Arafat Rahman was held in Malaysia after Zohr prayers.
BNP chairperson's younger brother Shamim Iskander, her adviser Mosaddek Ali Falu, Barisal Zila BNP vice president Sarfuddin Ahmed Santu, former MPs Nurul Islam Moni and Ali Ajgar Lobi, among others, joined the janaza.
After the janaza, his body was taken back to the mortuary of the Malaya University Hospital.
Meanwhile, a condolence book was opened at the BNP chairperson's Gulshan office around 1pm for common people to express their shock.
The ruling Awami League has officially mourned the death of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's son Arafat Rahman Koko. Its leaders will join Koko's funeral prayers.
Publication secretary of the party Hasan Mahmud expressed the official condolence in a press conference in the city Sunday.
Meanwhile, Hossain Khaled, president, and the members of the Board of Directors of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) expressed deep shock at the sudden and unexpected demise of Arafat Rahman Koko.
Diplomats from different countries, including  the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia and Egypt, visited the BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office on Sunday to express their condolence.
