Kolkata Knightriders buy back Shakib

Kolkata Knightriders (KKR) bought Shakib Al Hasan on the first day of the seventh IPL (Indian Premier League) auction in Bangalore, reports bdnews24.com.
On Wednesday, Shakib's bid started at the base price of INR 10 million (1 crore). Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Kolkata Knightriders escalated the bid to INR 20 million, where DD stepped aside to let KKR get their man.
The Bangladeshi all-rounder was a key player for KKR in the title victory of 2012, with a decent record in his 15-match long IPL career. Despite that, Kolkata decided to put him in auction this time.
