Komen\\\' triggered rainfall continues to hit life

Incessant rain triggered by tropical cyclone ‘Komen’ continued in the capital on Saturday morning, throwing normal public life into disarray. However, moderately heavy to heavy rainfall early in the morning turned into drizzle while filing this report at 10am. Several parts of the city, including Mouchak, Malibagh, Rajarbagh, Shantinagar, Shenpara Porbota, Kazipara on Rokeya Sarani, Pallabi bus stand, Kalshi Road, Merul Badda and some places of Rampura went under water due to the non-stop downpour. However, vehicular movement in the city remained normal and no severe traffic jam was seen in the capital in the morning. According to the Met office report, Dhaka among many parts of the country may experience moderately heavy to heavy rainfall till Saturday evening, according to a news agency.
