Korail slum fire burns down 5 structures

At least five makeshift structures, including two rickshaw garages, were gutted by a fire that broke out inside Korail slum at Mohakhali in the city early Friday, reports UNB.
Fire Service control room sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit in a small structure about 4:44 am.
Eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the flame about 5:12 am, said Inspector Shahjadi Sultana of the fire service control room.
