Korean bank executives meet CCCI chief

Our Correspondent CHITTAGONG, November 26: A team of high officials of Woori Bank of Korea today met the chief of premier trade body CCCI at the Chamber Building. IT specialist from Korea Sang Won Lee, deputy general manager and head of operation of the Woori Bank senior manager and head of offshore banking business department of the bank visited Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry today. Welcoming the representatives the president of the CCCI Morshed Murad Ibrahim said Bangladesh has a profound economic relation with Korea. He stated that the Korean investors have lent a tremendous support to Bangladesh economy. Ibrahim said that Youngone Corporation of Korean, the single largest investor in the RMG (readymade garment) sector in Bangladesh, has given support and cooperation in the construction of the World Trade Centre, the first ever of this kind in the country.
