Kosta Barbarouses’ goal celebration honours victims

Monday, 18 March 2019

Melbourne Victory star Kosta Barbarousess paid his respects to the tragedy that gripped his native New Zealand on Friday with a classy goal celebration, according to Fox Sport.
Kiwi star Barbarouses scored the opener against Brisbane Roar in the A-League on Saturday night, and immediately dropped to his knees in a touching tribute to the victims of the Christchurch mosque attacks.
He went on to score the second just minutes later, as he continued his stunning run of form against the Roar.
Kiwis have responded to the massacres with an outpouring of interfaith solidarity -- crowdfunding millions of dollars, donating halal food and even offering to accompany local Muslims now scared to walk the streets.
