Krishak League leader killed in crash

A central leader of Krishak League, a pro-Awami League organisation, was killed as a bus hit his motorcycle in Tongi of Gazipur district on Friday. The deceased was identified as Alam Palwan, a member of central committee of Krishak League. Witnesses said when Alam was going to the residence of local MP Jahid Ahsan Russel riding his motorbike a Dhaka-bound bus hit his bike at Charagali around 11 am, leaving him critically injured. He was taken to Tangi Government Hospital where doctors declared him dead, according to UNB.
