KSA provides shelters for fire victims at Rohingya camps

Saudi Arabia through its King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre provided more than US$600 million to Bangladesh for different humanitarian projects, said Saudi Ambassador to Dhaka Essa bin Yousef Al Duhailan on Tuesday.
Addressing a function in the city the Saudi envoy said that the King Salman Aid is operating throughout the world. The organisation runs 44 projects in Bangladesh.
The programme was organised at the Embassy to provide shelters for the Rohingyas and local people who were affected by the recent fire incident in Rohingya camps.
He also highlighted different activities of the project initiated by the King Salman Aid for the prevention of blindness among Bangladeshis.
"Saudi Arabia always extend its hands to the people all over the world and for the Muslim ummah and in Bangladesh in particular" he said.
He said Saudi Arabia is supporting the international efforts for the repatriation of the Rohingya since the beginning.
