KSA team in city to talk labour procurement

A high-profile delegation of the Saudi government arrived in the city Sunday on a four-day visit to discuss issues relating to procurement of manpower from Bangladesh, reports UNB.
Sixteen members of the 19-man team reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the afternoon, said Shahidul Alam Majumdar, public relations officer at the Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry.
The three other members are scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on Sunday night, he said.
The 19-member Saudi delegation, led by Dr Ahmed Al-Fahaid, Deputy Minister for International Affairs (leader) of the Ministry of Labour of Saudi Arabia, will hold talks with Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Engineer Khandker Mosharraf Hossain at his office at 9.0am on Monday.
Later, the Saudi team will meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganobhaban at 7.0pm on the day.
