KUSHTIA, Apr 7: A group of outsiders attacked Kushtia Press Club Wednesday at about 8:p.m According to sources a group of outsiders backed by a group of the ruling party equipped with lethal weapons attacked the press club when the members of the executive body were in a meeting. They attacked Mahbubur Ranman, President and Al Mamun Sagar, general secretary and executive members of the club. They also ransacked the club. The local administration donated a handsome amount of fund to the press club. A case was filed with the police in this regard.
