Kushtia road accident kills two women

KUSHTIA, Nov 27 (BSS): Two women were killed as a trolley hit a rickshaw-van in Mirpur upazila of the district on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Sabela, 70, and Morium Begum, residents of Kaborbaria village of the upazila.
Sub inspector of Mirpur Police Station Sheikh Rakibul Islam said the accident occurred around 9 am at Mashan Bazar of the upazila when a trolley hit a rickshaw-van, leaving its two passengers injured.
Injured Sabela and Morium were sent to Kushtia General Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared them dead.
