Labourer feared dead in boat capsize

SIRAJGANJ, Aug 30 (UNB): A day labourer is feared dead in a boat capsize in the Jamuna River Saturday.
The boat, carrying some 12 labourers along with sand blocks, was caught in a whirlpool near the hard point in the district town at about 11:30 am.
All the labourers excepting Khaleq (50) were rescued by the passengers of other boats.
Survivors said that they were going to the hard point of the river for dumping the blocks in the erosion hit areas.
