Labourer killed in boiler explosion in Jessore

JESSORE, May 24:  A worker of a rice mill was killed and another was wounded in a boiler explosion at Itta village under Monirampur Upazila Friday noon.
The dead was identified as Maina Bibi, 60,  wife of Abdul Majid of Jamruldanga under Kaliganj in Jhenidah and also a worker of a rice mill at Itta village. The injured Sona Bibi, 40 was taken to Dhaka after giving first aid at Jessore Medical College Hospital.
Police said, two labourers of a rice mill were wounded in a boiler explosion at noon. One of them died in Jessore hospital.
