Laila Sharmeen to showcase her works in Artexpo New York

Artist Laila Sharmeen will showcase her recent works in watercolour and print media at the three-day Artexpo New York 2014 beginning today (Friday), said a press release.
Artexpo features more than 400 innovative exhibiting artists, galleries and publishers from across the globe, showcasing exciting original artwork, prints, paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, lithographs, glass works.
For more than thirty-five years, Artexpo brings the biggest publishers, galleries and collectors face-to-face with hundreds of established and emerging artists.
Laila Sharmeen is represented at Artexpo by Argentine art dealer and editor of the Argentina Art Yearbook María Elena Beneito.
She has 11 solos and over 50 international shows to her credit. In 2011 she won a Purchase Prize at the 16th Space International Print Biennial held in Seoul, Korea. She has recently participated in World Art Games spread over different cities of Croatia. She has also represented Bangladesh in the first Argentine International Contemporary Art Exhibition and the Effectto Biennale in Mexico in 2012.
