Lailatul Qadr being observed

Muslims across the country are observing the holy Lailatul Qadr, the night of divine blessings and benediction, Friday night with due solemnity and religious fervour. The Holy Quran was revealed on Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) on this exalted night to show the mankind the path of worldly and eternal emancipation, according to a news agency. This is one of the holiest and most blessed nights when angels descend with the order of Almighty Allah for the welfare of the faithful till dawn. Those who spend this night in prayer, experience an unimaginable bliss as a result of immense heavenly blessings. Muslim devotees are spending the entire night seeking divine blessings for peace and progress of the country and the Muslim Ummah. They arrange milad mahfil, zikr, Quran Khwani, and religious discussions at mosques and their houses at the holy night which is better than 1,000 months. A special munajat and waz mahfil, arranged by Islamic Foundation, is being held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Friday night.
