Lailatul Qadr tonight

Holy Lailatul Qadr, the night of divine blessings and benediction, will be observed across the country tonight (Wednesday night) with due solemnity, reports UNB.
The holy Quran was revealed on this night to show mankind the path of worldly and eternal emancipation.
Muslim devotees will spend the night seeking divine blessings for peace and progress of the country and the Muslim Ummah as well.
Muslim devotees will pass the night offering special prayers, recitation from the holy Quran, holding milad mahfil, zikr, and other religious rituals.
A special munajat and waz mahfil arranged by Islamic Foundation will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on the holy night. Khatib Prof Maulana Mohammad Salah Uddin will conduct the munajat and waz mahfil.
Different television channels and radio will air special programmes while newspapers will publish special programmes highlighting the significance of the night.
BSS adds: President M Zillur Rahman and Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina Tuesday greeted the countrymen and the Muslims across the world on the eve of holy Lailatul Qadr.
In separate messages, they prayed for continued peace, progress and prosperity of the country and the Muslim ummah.
In his message, the President said the holy Lailatul Qadr is superior to thousand nights. This night is "very sacred and full of opportunities" for mankind. Allah has revealed the holy Quran on this night, he added.
"On this night, the Almighty Allah opens up His store of blessings and forgiveness. Therefore, the significance of this glorified night is immense," the President said.
Mr Rahman prayed that the Almighty Allah would fulfill everybody's life with His unlimited blessings on this night.
In a separate message, the PM termed Lailatul Qadr as a glorified night of Ramadan. The holy Quran was revealed on this night to show mankind the path of emancipation.
"I pray to the Almighty for continued progress, peace and welfare of our beloved motherland and the Muslim ummah on this holy night," she added.
