\\\'Lal Bahini\\\' man threatens RU teacher

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Mar 19: Prof. Anisuzzman Manik, a teacher of Philosophy department at Rajshhai University (RU) filed Wednesday a General Diary (GD) against 'Lal Bahini,' an organisation for threatening him over phone.
Abdur Roaf, officer in- charge (OC) of Motihar police station confirmed the matter.
Prof. Manik said on Monday last he received the threat over phone around 9:30pm. Someone, over the phone from mobile number-01984368873 phoned the teacher and identified himself as a leader of Lal Bahini.The caller told the teacher that some of his followers wanted to meet the him for some days but they could not as the 'Lal Bahini leader stopped them.
Lal Bahini leader asked Prof. Manik to get ready with huge cash. Even the caller threatened him (teacher) to kill if police is informed of the matter.     belal.feni@gmail.com
