Land record, survey start soon

Monday, 3 September 2007

The government has urged the landowners to cooperate with the surveyors concerned in land record in their respective areas by showing relevant land documents for proper record of their lands. A handout Sunday said the surveyors (Amins) would complete surveying moujas by 15 days after the start of their work. After the survey, the landowners will be provided with 'parchas' mentioning their names, addresses, land location, khatian numbers and amount of land. The surveyors will complete this task by a week after its start. The handout also requested the landowners concerned to submit dispute forms to the surveyors concerned if any fault is found in the parcha and to cooperate with the 'halka' officer concerned to resolve their disputes. —UNB
