Land services to be ensured through smart management, says Chanda

The government will ensure efficient, transparent and people-friendly land services by implementing smart land management, said Land Minister Narayan Chandra Chanda on Tuesday.
He called upon the officials of the ministry to provide necessary services to the people.
The land minister made the call while addressing a meeting on activities of the offices and agencies under the Ministry of Land held at Bhumi Bhaban in the capital, says a press release.
Land Secretary Md Khalilur Rahman chaired the meeting also attended by Chairman of the Land Appeal Board AKM Shamimul Haque, Chairman of the Land Reform Board Md Abdus Sabur Mondal and Director General of the Land Record and Survey Department Anis Mahmud, among others.
Narayan Chandra Chanda emphasised the need to work sincerely to ensure proper land services for the countrymen.
"I believe that if all of us perform our respective responsibilities properly, it will be possible to fulfill what the Prime Minister wants from the Ministry of Land," he said.
