Language veteran Mokhlesur Rahman passes away

THAKURGAON, Mar 12 (BSS): Mokhlesur Rahman, a language veteran and former parliament member, died at Dinajpur Heart Foundation Thursday at the age of 79.
Mokhlesur Rahman, one of the organizers of the War of Liberation, was suffering from breathing problem, high blood pressure and diabetes, family sources said.
He left behind his wife, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives, admirers and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was elected parliament member in 1991 from Thakurgaon-3 constituency (Pirganj-Ranishonkail) with Awami League ticket.
