Lanka dump HK in WHL

Sri Lanka shrugged off their previous defeat to bounce back in the World Hockey League round-1 with a convincing 6-1 goal victory over Hong Kong in their second match Saturday at the Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the city, reports BSS.
In the day's match, Ranasingha opened an account for the Islanders in the 13th minute while Mulafar doubled the lead for Lanka in the 30th minute.
Priyalanak scored the third goal for Sri Lanka 43rd minute while Ranasingha widened the margin for scored his second goal and fourth for the team in the 46th minute. Chan Ka Chun pulled one back for Hong Kong 47th minute while Nanayakka scored the fifth goal for Lankan in the 48th minute.
Munafar sealed the victory for Islanders scoring his second goal for the team in the 53rd minute.
Earlier, Sri Lanka suffered a 2-3 goal defeat to host Bangladesh in their league opening match.
