FE Report The ongoing laptop fair at the country's first laptop bazaar is gaining momentum with the increase in visitors and the sale on the third day. The organisers are hopeful that the fair would attract more visitors after the waiver of the entry fee, which was earlier fixed at Tk 10. Gift items and discount on different products are drawing the visitors into the new market, said Harun-Or-Rashid, president of shop owners association of the market. He said the fair organising committee has taken different initiatives to disseminate information about the fair. Young people, especially students, throng the fair, he added. Banglalion Communications, an Internet service provider, is giving its pre-paid modem at Tk 1499 and post-paid connection at Tk 999. Techvalley Distribution and Kaspersky are giving 4GB pendrive and some other companies are giving cash waiver along with sports T-shirt and PC (personal computer) cleaning kit. The journey of the first 'laptop market' began Thursday in the city's 'Eastern Plus BCS Laptop Bazaar' at Shantinagar with a view to meeting the demand for quality products of global brands from one place.
