Latest Oracle's database releases in Bangladesh

Oracle® Database 11g, the latest innovative and highest quality Oracle software on enterprise information management, was released in Bangladesh recently, which the company claims will help the country's challenges of rapid data growth, increased data integration and data connectivity IT cost pressure.
While launching Oracle® Database 11g, Amer Khan of Oracle said, the new release, built on 30 years of design experience, extends Oracle's unique database clustering, data center automation, and workload management capabilities.
He said since its launching worldwide in July last, Oracle® Database 11g has widely been used by telecom, banks and financial institutions and expressed hope that it would also help Bangladesh tackle self-management and automation features to meet service level agreement of Oracle's client organisations.
Oracle Database 11g can help organizations take control of their enterprise information, gain better business insight, and quickly and confidently adapt to an increasingly changing competitive environment for its various features.
New availability features include Oracle Flashback Transaction; Parallel Backup and Restore and 'hot patching'. In addition, a new advisor - Data Recovery Advisor - helps administrators significantly reduce recovery downtime by automating problem investigation, intelligently determining recovery plan and handling multiple failure situations.
Amer Khan said Oracle® Database 11g has several versions from light, personal to enterprise and standard which have been tasted in the world market and proves efficiencies. He further claimed that with secure, highly available and scalable grids of low-cost servers and storage, Oracle customers can tackle the most demanding transaction processing, data warehousing, and content management applications.
