Sunday, 12 October 2014
President of Krishak Sramik Janata League (KSJL) Kader Siddique said Saturday his elder brother minister Latif Siddique should apologise to the nation for his recent anti-Islamic comments, reports UNB.
"I'm not sure whether the Almighty Allah will pardon my brother for what he said against the holy Hajj, but as a member of his family, I pray to Allah so that he forgives him," Kader Siddique said.
Addressing a press conference, the KSJL chief also said,"I'm here to seek apology on behalf of my elder brother for his derogatory remarks. If he (Latif) does not apologise, he should be tried under the country's existing law."
Krishak Sramik Janata League arranged the press conference at the Jatiya Press Club.
Suggesting his brother to apologise to Allah and the nation for his remarks, Kader said, "Allah please, gives my brother the strength to apologise for what he has done."
