Terming Posts and Telecommunications Minister Abdul Latif Siddiqui a trash talker, Awami League (AL) acting president Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury on Tuesday urged all not to pay heed to his filthy words. 'Don't pay heed to what he (Latif) says. There're some talkative leaders and this is possible for them to deliver such words…it's their freedom. I think you (journalists) wouldn't accept what he (Latif) said,' Sajeda, also deputy leader of the House, said this while addressing a press briefing after a meeting of AL sub-committee on publicity and publication at the AL President’s Dhanmondi office. Latif Siddiqui at a views-exchange meeting with expatriates from Tangail on Sunday in the USA said, 'During Hajj, so much manpower is wasted. Over 2 million people have gone to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj. They've no work, no production and they only cause deduction. Some 2m Tabligh Jamaat people get together annually who don't do any work except halting traffic movement across the country,' the Posts and Telecommunications Minister said, according to UNB.
