Latif Siddiqui returns

Abdul Latif Siddiqui, who was removed from the Cabinet and the ruling Awami League for commenting against Hajj, has returned to Bangladesh. The former telecoms minister flew in on an Air India flight to Dhaka airport around 9pm Sunday, according to immigration police. He is accused of hurting religious sentiments in a flurry of cases filed after he made the remark at a discussion in New York in September. There also warrants out for his arrest, according to a news agency.
