Launching movement against social erosion stressed

RANGPUR, Jan 13 (BSS): Speakers at a rally have stressed for launching vigorous movement against social erosion, unhealthy culture, pornography, drug abuse, gambling, rape, human trafficking and repression and violence against women.
District unit of Bangladesh Narimukti Kendra (BNK) organised the post protest procession human chain and rally at Katchari Bazar here on Monday afternoon to create mass public awareness against all sorts of social erosion for building a peaceful society.
With member of district committee of BNK Alo Begum in the chair, Coordinator of district Convention Preparation Committee of Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) Anwar Hossain Bablu addressed the rally as the main discussant.
Member of the district Convention Preparation Committee of BSD Polash Kanti Nag, Organisers of Rangpur unit of BNK Kamrunnahar Khanom Shikha, Nandini Das and Fahmida Haque, addressed among others.
Earlier, hundreds of the women leaders and activists of BNK from all over the district carrying placards, banners and festoons took part in the protest procession that was brought out in the city streets against social erosion.
