Launching of capital mkt journalists'forum today

Dhaka-based reporters covering stock market are going to launch a forum styled Capital Market Journalists' Forum (CMJF) today (Thursday) with a view to improving the professional skill of its members.
Finance and Planning Adviser Mirza Azizul Islam is expected to be present as chief guest at the launching ceremony to be held at Radisson Water Garden Hotel in the city.
Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission Faruq Ahmed Siddiqi and deputy governor of Bangladesh Bank Ziaul Hasan Siddiqui will be present as special guests.
President of Dhaka Stock Exchange Abdul Haque, president of Chittagong Stock exchange (CSE) Nasir Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury and managing director of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh Ziaul Huq Khandker will attend as guests of honour.
The event is also expected to bring together headline makers and leaders in their fields from business world to policymakers.
The CMJF is a visionary forum and dedicated to promote professional journalism through holding regular training programmes, workshops and seminars, conducting market research and organising investors' awareness programmes.
