Law and order meeting held in Chandpur

CHANDPUR, July 25 (BSS): Monthly development co-ordination meeting of the district was held at deputy commissioner's office Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner S M Monirul Islam presided over the meeting. The meeting discussed the problems and development of different departments of the government in the district.
Police Super Md Obaidur Rahman Khan, Civil Surgeon Dr Md Akhteruzzaman, Mayor Nasiruddin Ahmed and Principal, Chandpur Government College Prof Iqbal Hossain spoke, among others. Concerned government officials attended the meeting.
Another report adds: Catching of fries of hilsha and other species of fish are continuing at an alarming level in the rivers of Meghna and Padma in Chandpur district.
