Law Commission submits annual report to President

A delegation of the Law Commission, led by its chairman Justice ABM Khairul Haque, submitted its annual report to President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Wednesday. During the meeting, the delegation apprised the President of the commission's ongoing activities including its work on anti-disparity law, mental health protection, violence on children, medical negligence, and pure foods. It also informed that the commission appointed two researchers for doing research on the above-mentioned subjects. Besides, the delegation highlighted some of the problems during their meeting with the President and sought his cooperation in this regard, according to a news agency.
