Law enforcers, AL men blamed for Bihari camp violence

Saturday, 14 June 2014

Vowing afresh to continue the fight against state-sponsored terrorism, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Saturday blamed the ruling party cadres and members of the law-enforcement agencies for the killing of 10 people at Bihari camp in the city’s Mirpur area. In a statement Khaleda, also a former prime minister, strongly condemned and protested the ‘heinous attack on innocent’ people. Alleging that ‘the ruling party cadres and members of the law enforcement agencies carried out the cowardice and barbaric incident’, the BNP chairperson said, “Any terrorist act is a crime against humanity. These terrorists are the enemies of mankind,” according to a news agency.
