Law-enforcers force drug stores to shut down

Friday, 24 August 2007

The law-enforcers on Thursday morning forced the old Dhaka drug stores with pharmacies to shut down though the drug stores selling medicines have been exempted from the curfew. The pharmacy owners under Sutrapur, Lalbagh and Kotwali thanas opened their chemists stores in the morning, as they knew they were exempted from the ban. But the law-enforcers forced them to close their shops at about 11am. —UNB
