Law minister's mother Jahanara Huq dies

Jahanara Huq, mother of Law Minister Anisul Huq, died at a city hospital early Saturday. She was 85, reports UNB.
Jahanara Huq, wife of Advocate Sirajul Huq, had been suffering from various old age complications including heart diseases and was admitted to Apollo Hospitals on October 27, 2019.
Her namaj-e-janaza will be held at Jam-e-Mosque of Water Development Board adjacent to Banani- 11 and she will be buried at Banani Graveyard.
Meanwhile, President Abdul Hamid on Saturday expressed profound shock at the death of Jahanara Huq.
In a condolence message, the President prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock and sorrow at the demise of Jahanara Huq.
She prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
