LDP, CPB to join dialogue today

Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) will join dialogue with the President at Bangabhaban today (Tuesday) over the formation of the new Election Commission, reports UNB. LDP secretary general Prof Jahanara Begum told the news agency over cellphone that a delegation of their party, led by its chairman Col (retd) Oli Ahmed will go to Bangabhaban to join the dialogue with President M Zillur Rahman at 11:00 am. Meanwhile, LDP chairman Oli Ahmed met BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan office Sunday night to talk about the dialogue, the party sources said. The schedules of the President's dialogue with LDP and Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) are at 11:00 am and 12:00 noon Tuesday respectively.
