LDP greets CEC for announcing poll schedules

The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) has congratulated Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) ATM Shamsul Huda for announcing the schedules of parliamentary and upazila elections Sunday, reports BSS.
The LDP, in a press release issued in the city Monday, said the CEC has announced the schedules for holding free, fair, credible and terrorism and black money free elections acceptable to all, both at home and abroad.
The press release further said that the LDP was ready to contest the upcoming parliamentary and upazila polls and will start distributing nomination papers soon.
