Legends of Rupganj maintain all-win run in Premier Cricket

Legends of Rupganj, formerly Gazi Tank Cricketers, maintained their all-win run in the Walton Dhaka Metropolis Premier Division Cricket League beating Victoria SC by seven wickets at the BKSP ground-3 in Savar on Monday, reports UNB.
In the day's other matches, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club tasted the 2nd win in their 4th league match beating Brothers Union Club by seven wickets at the BKSP ground-4 in Savar while Kalabagan Cricket Academy also earned the 2nd victory defeating Prime Doleshwar SC by four runs in Fatullah.
At the BKSP ground 3, batting first after winning the toss Victoria SC scored 191 for 7 in quota 50 overs with Nadif Chowdhury making 57, Enamul Haque Jr not out 42 and Suhrawardy Shuvo 37 runs.
Mohammad Shahid grabbed four wickets for 30 runs.
In reply, Legends of Rupganj easily reached their target scoring the match-winning 192 for 3 in 46.1 overs.
National colour opener Jahurul Islam contributed a polished 95 runs off 127 balls with nine boundaries to be adjudged man of the match while Azhar Zaidi scored unbeaten 44 runs off 59 balls with two fours and two sixes.
At the BKSP ground 4, Brothers Union Club opened the innings first after winning the toss and scored 219 for 8 in 50 overs with Rumman Ahmed making 34, and Yasir Ali and JL Denly 30 runs each.
Saju Dutta claimed four wickets for 40 runs while Nahidul Islam took two wickets for 40 runs.
Chasing a moderate target, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club reached their target making 221 runs for 3 wickets in 48.4 overs with Mysukur Rahman scoring team highest 87 runs off 131 balls that featured 10 boundaries.
Top order national colour batsman Shahriar Nafees contributed not out 75 runs off 88 balls with eight fours and a six to be adjudged man of the match.
At Fatullah, batting first, Kalabagan Cricket Academy were all out for 208 in 49.4 overs with Irfan Sukkur making 72 runs, Imtiaz Hossain scored 38 and Mehedy Hasan 32 runs.
National colour spinner Elias Sunny grabbed four wickets for 36 runs, Habibur Rahman captured three wickets for 51 runs and Muktar Ali took two wickets for 21 runs.
In reply, Prime Doleshawar SC were forced to fold their innings at 204 runs for 7 in allocated 50 overs with Mehedy Maruf scoring 42 and Jubair Ahmed 41 runs.
