Lesson of good and bad touch for children

Friday, 8 July 2022

In today's world, parents should talk to their children about what is right and wrong, what is appropriate and inappropriate. It is also imperative to talk to children about sexual development, sexual identity, and other such related topics. As children start growing older, they need guidance to learn about these body parts, their functions, safety, and what privacy and private parts mean.
Children must know that no one is ever allowed to touch their private parts, and that it is important to keep these areas covered and safe in public spaces (which includes school too). If you keep the channels of communication open, your child will know what to do even when a known person touches them, and how to respond: he or she must report it to someone immediately.
