Leveraging ICT organises seminar in city

A seminar on 'Bangladesh National Digital Architecture' was held at CIRDAP International Conference Centre in the city on Sunday for secretaries of different ministries.
Leveraging ICT (LICT) organised the event for growth, employment and governance project under the ICT Division, said a press release.
Cabinet Secretary Md. Shafiul Alam was present as the chief guest.
Secretary of ICT Division N M Zeaul Alam presided over the seminar, also attended by Project Director of LICT Md. Rezaul Karim and Executive Director of Bangladesh Computer Council Parthapratim Deb.
Dr. Pallab Saha, Chief Architect, The Open Group and co-author of India Enterprise Architecture delivered the key note speech.
The press release said the LICT Project under ICT ministry has developed an e-governance framework which will ensure implementing an open and connected government.
This integrated framework will ensure citizen centric services delivery and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government.
The benefits of Bangladesh National Digital Architecture are citizen centric improved governance, coordination and collaboration within government entities, low cost and smart service delivery, standardisation of ICT products.
