LFMEAB donates Tk 1.0m to Al-Markazul Islami

As part of the Beyond Compliance activities during Covid-19, Leather Goods and Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) donated Tk 1.0 million to Al-Markazul Islami Bangladesh to smoothly continue services of Al-Markazul Islami in dignified management of the dead bodies during COVID-19, said a statement.
In this regard, a cheque handover ceremony was held on Wednesday at the LFMEAB board room, Banani Dhaka.
Md. Saiful Islam, President of LFMEAB, handed over, a cheque for Tk 1.0 million to Al-Markazul Islami.
During the ceremony, A.K.M. Afzalur Rahman, former Vice-President of LFMEAB and Managing Director of Landmark Footwear Ltd, Kazi Roushan Ara, Executive Director of LFMEAB, Hamza Shahidul Islam, and Abdur Rahman Mamun, Acting Chairman and Joint Secretary of Al-Markazul Islami respectively were present among others on the occasion.
