LGED implements RERMP in B'baria

BRAHMANBARIA, Oct 25: The LGED has employed 980 destitute women from 98 union parishads in eight upazilas of the district for implementing the Rural Employment and Road Maintenance Programme (RERMP).
Each woman gets a daily wage of Tk 90. They work on the maintenance of the rural road.
LGED also appointed 226 women under 35 schemes of the government maintenance programme at a cost of Tk 66,22,046.00.
