LGRD ministry to be made more dynamic, says Mosharraf

GOPALGANJ, July 10 (BSS): LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain today said that he would make his ministry more dynamic and accountable to the people.
Mosharraf, a former chief engineer of local government engineering department, said: "I know the ministry thoroughly because I worked here throughout my service career."
The minister said this after paying respect to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mazar at Tungipara here.
He also offered fathea and prayed for eternal peace of Bangabandhu.
Engineer Mosharraf thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for giving him the responsibility for the important ministry like LGRD and Cooperatives and expressed the hope that if he get cooperation from all, the ministry would run smoothly.
LGED Chief Engineer Shayma Prasad Adhikari, Gopalganj District Council Administrator Chowdhury Emdadul Haq, Deputy Commissioner of Faridpur Sardar Saraft Ali were present.
