Liakat elected AIBL director

Md Liakat Ali Chowdhury has been elected as director of the board of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd (AIBL). He was elected unanimously in the 261st meeting of the board of directors held recently.
Mr Chowdhury hailed from a respectable Muslim family of Chittagong. He is the owner of Asadi Steel Enterprise and Regal Oxygen.  He is the Managing Partner of Jamuna Ship Breakers. Prominent businessman Mr Liakat Ali is a director of Chittagong Metropolitan Chember of Commerce & Industries (CMCCI). He is also the founder director of Southern University Bangladesh.
