Liberation Day observed in Netrakona

NETRAKONA, Dec 9 (BSS): Liberation Day was observed in Netrakona today with renewed pledge to take the nation towards progress and prosperity.
Netrakona district administration and district Muktijoddha Sangsad and different socio-cultural, professional and political organizations observed the day with different programmes.
The day's program began with placing of wreaths by deputy commissioner (DC) Netrakona Dr. Torun Kanti Shikder and commander of district Muktijoddha Sangsad Nurul Amin at the Independence memorial monument at Satpai area of the town this morning.
The national flag and Muktijoddha Sangsad flag were hoisted at Netrakona Shaheed Minar premises.
